Devonshire Honey Cake

This Devonshire Honey Cake is my new favourite!

It has a dense, firm texture which makes it perfect to cut and pack for picnics and lunch boxes.

Made with Butter, Dark Muscovado Sugar and Honey with a sticky Honey glaze on top, this cake keeps for ages if stored in an airtight tine or container, in fact it tastes better if stored for a few days before eating as the beautiful Honey flavour develops over time.

Devonshire Honey Cake is a simple cake,  with a warm, deep flavour which is good for any time of day from breakfast through to an evening snack

This is an 8inch cake and will happily cut into 12 to 14 slices - you honestly don't need big slices of this one.
